Do our desires overcome reality?

a quote taken from the book called; the almanack of naval ravikant.

feynman’s acceptance of reality over his desire teaches us to;

  • accept situations for what they are
  • reduce the anxiety when dealing with the outside world
  • focus your response to the stimuli, not let the stimuli force your response.

this mentality of accepting reality doesnt mean that you can’t aspire to be more than what you currently are. its the notion of accepting your current circumanstance.

be true to yourself, accept it. look at realistic ways to acheive whatever goal you want.

accepting is the critical part in my opinion, it can lead to giving up when motivation is low. you can let those negative voices overpower your positive ones.

the idea is to have the belief that the universe in all of its granduer, allows for those good voices to entangle itself to the reality to which the universe is made from.

what do i mean? all of known knowledge began as a thought.

accepting is based on the premise that you are going to improve, that you will ACT and not just think about acting.

what is reality? based on feynman, what ever is dictated by the laws of physics. if you base reality on this, then all thoughts will, theoritically, be possible in manifesting to the outside world.
